How MyChart makes accessing care easier
With MyChart, it's easier than ever to arrive at an Adventist Health care location ready for your visit. You can complete pre-visit tasks, update personal information, and stay informed about what to expect before your appointment.
Can I check in before my appointment?
Yes, MyChart offers eCheck-In so you can take care of pre-visit tasks from the comfort of your home. By completing eCheck-In before your visit, you can save time upon arrival, spend less time waiting, reduce paperwork, and enjoy a more convenient and efficient experience.
When you arrive for your appointment, log in to MyChart and confirm your arrival. This will automatically check you in, allowing you to relax and wait for your name to be called.
If you did not complete all of your eCheck-In tasks, you will be prompted to finish the eCheck‐In process in the MyChart app or go to the front desk.
What about emergency or urgent care visits?
When you need care quickly, MyChart helps you find the nearest Urgent Care or Emergency Department, view current wait times, and let the care team know you're “On the Way” within the app. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can choose the best location for your needs and get care faster.
Do I still need to check in at the front desk if I complete eCheck-In?
No, if you have checked in with your MyChart account, you do not need to visit the front desk unless directed for additional information.
Will I receive reminders about my appointment?
Yes, you will receive notifications via SMS text or email regarding information for upcoming appointments. You are also able to update how your receive these notifications by updating your preferences in MyChart.
If I send a message to my provider, when can I expect a reply?
You will generally receive a response within two business days. Note that MyChart messages should not be used for urgent situations. Please contact your medical center if the situation requires immediate attention or dial 911 if it is an emergency.
