Patients may still pay by cash and check at designated hospital cashier locations.

You and your family members can use Guest Pay to pay medical bills without a MyChart account.
Why are Adventist Health clinics no longer accepting physical payment, such as cash or check payments?
As part of efforts to improve security, simplify payment processes, and provide a more convenient billing experience, most Adventist Health clinics and medical offices are transitioning to an electronic payment model at our locations. You will continue to have multiple payment options available, including paying online with electronic payment methods or visiting a designated location for physical payments.
What payment methods are accepted?
Patients can continue to make payments using:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Apple Pay/Google Pay
- MyChart online payments
- By phone
- By mail
Can I still pay with cash?
Yes. While many Adventist Health clinics no longer accept physical payments on site, patients can still make physical payments with cash or checks at designated hospital cashier locations where available. Clinic staff can direct you to the appropriate location.
Can I still pay by check?
Yes, but only at specific locations in the hospital or by mailing your check to the address on your billing statement. Many Adventist Health clinics and medical offices will no longer accept in-person check payments. Please speak with your clinic if you have questions about available payment options.
Will this affect my appointment or care?
No. This change only affects how payments are accepted at the clinic. Your access to care, appointments, providers, and services will not be affected. Patients still have multiple payment options available.
What if I only have cash or a check to pay for my visit?
You will still receive care. Staff can explain available payment options and direct you to a designated cashier location that accepts physical payments like cash or checks. Patients will not be turned away because they are unable to make a payment at the clinic.
Who can I contact if I have questions about my bill or payment options?
If you have questions regarding billing, balances, statements, or payment options, please contact Adventist Health Customer Service at 877-248-6441. You may also use MyChart, our online health portal, to view account information and send billing-related questions.
