Adventist Health Vallejo is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and healing environment. To ensure the safety, security, and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors, we kindly request your cooperation in following our visiting guidelines. Please call ahead to confirm current guidelines or if you have any questions. 

Visitor guidelines to support a healing environment

Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends are welcome to visit. However, patient care is our primary concern, and to enhance our quality of care, visiting, and general guidelines for visitors are listed below:

  • Visiting hours for adult patients: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Visiting hours for child and adolescent patients: 4:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
  • All visitations will take place in a common area, not on the patient units
  • Visitors may only bring a set of keys into visitation area
  • A secure locker is provided for all other personal belongings during visitation
  • No outside food is permitted to be given to patients during their stay
  • Visitors must be 16 years or older
  • Patients are allowed only one visitor at a time and may have up to two visitors within the designated 60-minute time slot
  • Visitors must also present a valid ID, unless other arrangements are made in advance
  • Minors may use their school ID
