Chase Aalborg Named President of Adventist Health Castle

Adventist Health has appointed Chase Aalborg as president of Adventist Health Castle, effective October 14. Aalborg will be responsible for daily hospital operations, ensuring quality patient care and maintaining financial integrity.

Aalborg’s experience in leadership, operations and finance, and his ability to engage and inspire team members to accomplish goals, drive efficiency and provide quality outcomes will help him make a positive impact in Adventist Health’s Hawai’i Service Area.

“Chase’s impressive leadership experience will serve us well, with his confident, team-based approach to challenging situations, using his organizational skills, innovation, and persistence,” said Kerry L. Heinrich, president and CEO, Adventist Health. “I am beyond excited for the future of Adventist Health Castle and healthcare in Hawai’i under Chase’s leadership.”

“I have spent my career in both finance and operations in very competitive healthcare markets like Chicago and Denver,” said Chase. “Working with the board and community leaders has always been important to me and has led to many opportunities such as expansion of care sites, building new services, and making sure all people in our community have access to care. While I am not clinical, I have always enjoyed working hand in hand with both leaders and front-line staff to improve quality outcomes and satisfaction initiatives.”

Chase most recently served as chief operating officer at AdventHealth Littleton, Colo.

“Chase is a results-oriented executive and an engaging communicator who will build strong partnerships with physicians, hospital leaders and key stakeholders,” said Todd Hofheins, chief operating officer. “His collaborative spirit supports our vision to become an essential provider across the continuum of care in the Hawai’i Service Area.”
