What if I don’t have access to a computer?

Most hospital Human Resources departments will have computers available on campus for candidates to use to submit applications. Additionally, your local library often provides computers for public use.

What should I include on my resume?

We want to learn more about you. Please start by including your contact information (a valid phone number and email address), past work experience and time in role (industry, size and scope of previous employer is a plus), relevant education, and active licenses/certifications. A simple resume design is great and there is no need to include photos.

What should I expect after I have submitted my application?

You will receive an email confirmation once you have submitted your application, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will review.

How do I check the status of my application?

Our Talent Acquisition team regularly reviews job submissions. You can check the status of your application by logging into your profile and using your email and verification code. From there, view your status under “My Application".

How frequently are new jobs posted?

We are committed to posting our positions as soon as they are available. This means that our job postings may change weekly — if not daily — so we encourage you to check our careers site frequently.

Is there a limit to the number of jobs to which I can apply?

No. However, we encourage applicants to apply for positions that they are qualified for and interested in. Each job application requires its own individual submission.

What are the recommended internet browsers for filling out applications?

We recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the easiest application process.

How do you protect my personal information?

We take our candidate’s privacy seriously. We will never share your information with anyone external to our organization.

How can I avoid recruitment fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a scam technique seen nationwide, and individuals interested in joining the Adventist Health team have been targeted.

We require all applicants to apply through Careers.AdventistHealth.org. Any communication with our talent advisors will come from an official @ah.org email account. We do not use public email domains or public platforms to conduct interviews.

What are Adventist Health’s guidelines on AI in the recruitment process?

AI is a powerful tool for improving efficiency and its use is becoming increasingly common. Our recruitment team occasionally uses AI tools to support parts of our recruitment process, such as drafting content or assisting with communications. These tools help streamline our workflows, but all final decisions and interactions are reviewed and guided by our team to ensure fairness, accuracy, and a human touch.

For candidates, we ask that the interview process reflects your own work and perspective, and that you do not use AI to supplement your performance.
