Physical therapy to keep you moving forward
Our outpatient physical rehabilitation helps patients recover from a range of injuries, traumas, or surgeries. Working in conjunction with your primary care provider, specialist, or surgeon, our team will develop a personalized care plan that may incorporate physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy. Using the latest technologies and techniques, our therapists will guide you through every step of your journey to recovery. They will also help you understand your body and how to care for yourself to achieve maximum long-term health benefits. The therapist also works closely with you and your physician to develop a plan of care using a variety of treatment techniques to help you:

Occupational therapy to maximize your independence
Occupational therapy is designed to improve your physical, functional, and mental abilities so you can regain independence in daily activities, such as self-care, leisure activities, or work tasks. Our goal is to help you overcome limitations caused by strokes, injuries, or chronic conditions, so you can get back to the life you love. Some occupational therapy programs include:
- Activities of daily living (ADL) training like dressing, feeding, and grooming
- Functional transfer training like moving from a seated to a standing position to use the toilet, shower, and tub
- Upper extremity splint fabrication
- Fine motor coordination and upper extremity function
- Visual perceptual assessment and retraining
- Bathroom durable medical equipment assessment and training
Speech therapy to find your voice and rhythm again
Speech therapy is designed to treat communication and swallowing disorders that can result from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and other traumas, or conditions. With our proven techniques and compassionate therapists, we can help restore functions that are essential to everything from communication and social skills to eating and breathing. Acute Rehabilitation Unit
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Program is a 16-bed unit providing medical rehabilitation to adult patients following illness or injury. The program is under medical direction of a board-certified physiatrist.
The rehabilitation team assist patients in achieving the highest level of recovery and functional independence in order to resume their lifestyle, The rehabilitation unit accepts referrals from discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and healthcare organizations.

Pediatric rehabilitation
Our pediatric rehabilitation services are offered through our Rainbow Children’s Center, and include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and audiology. Using our innovative, whole-person approach to care, our multi-disciplinary team partners with families to help their children recover from injuries or conditions and reach their full potential. Our compassionate therapists are experienced in helping children feel safe and reassured as they gently guide them through their rehabilitation.
