We understand that everyone’s mental health is based on a unique set of circumstances, and likewise, everyone’s journey to healing may require different tactics. That’s why we customize our treatments to meet your individual situation and needs. Our inpatient services can properly address a full range of conditions and issues for people of all ages. Including:

  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar disorders
  • Depression
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Psychotic disorders
  • Substance abuse
  • Schizophrenia

We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private health plans, including most HMOs.

Our whole person approach

As part of Adventist Health’s commitment to treating the whole you, we use a behavioral health approach that focuses on the interaction between your behavior and your physical, mental and spiritual wellness. We favor this approach because we believe that your mental and behavioral health is connected to other aspects of you as a person. That’s why we can augment our treatment plans with everything from pastoral services for your spiritual wellness, exercise, and substance abuse treatment for your physical wellness.

Inpatient services

We’re here to help you with your behavioral care. Our goal is to return patients to the community at an improved level of functioning, using an interdisciplinary, family-centered, and culturally sensitive approach. Please contact us if you are experiencing any or all of the following: 

  • Recurrent thoughts of death 
  • Increase in isolative or withdrawn behavior 
  • Significant change in sleep patterns 
  • Overwhelming sadness or loneliness 
  • Loss of interest, appetite, motivation 
  • Severe anxiety and/or panic attacks 
  • Recent changes in medication (with secondary behavioral changes) 
  • Active hallucinations

Inpatient care for acute stabilization

With our Joint Commission-accredited inpatient program, we provide a safe environment for patients exhibiting acute mental health crisis. Our 33-bed unit includes 21 beds for most patients and 12 beds situated separately for patients requiring more intensive supervision. Our highly trained specialists provide compassionate care and treatment ranging from medication management and cognitive therapy to life skill development.
