Patient and Family Advisory Council

Improving the patient and family experience

The Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a group of current and former patients, family members, and hospital staff. Together, the volunteers serve as advisors to improve quality of service and safety, systems of care, and educate healthcare staff.

Join us and make a difference

As a PFAC member, you can either join in-person or virtually. In-person PFAC members meet once a month in our Community Resource Center. Virtual PFAC members will collaborate through emailed surveys with a flexible commitment from their home with no travel required. Members take an active role in advancing the healthcare experience for our community by:

  • Providing feedback on quality of care
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Offering insights on service to patients and families
  • Commenting on our community involvement
  • Discussing health plan relationships
  • Suggesting new services and programs
