How to Apply

At Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, residents gain comprehensive experience grounded in excellence and compassion. Our program has a specific application process for prospective residents. 

Family medicine residency 

Applications to the family medicine residency must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). If granted, contact will be made through ERAS regarding the interview process. Please note that Adventist Health Ukiah Valley does not sponsor visas or accept J-1 or F-1 visas. Your ERAS application must include:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Medical school transcripts
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • Personal statement
  • United States Medical Licensing Examination USMLE and COMPLEX Scores
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation, including a letter from an Attending or Department Chair
The ERAS application season begins in September.
