Generations of families have turned to Adventist Health Lodi Memorial when welcoming a new baby. We know how important this moment is to you. And it’s just as important to us, which is why we provide a highly experienced maternity team, a range of support services tailored to your needs, and the compassionate personal touch that makes your first moments together with your child a memory to treasure.

A comforting, supportive environment

We’ve been designated as a Baby-Friendly Hospital by Baby-Friendly USA since 2014. Between our compassionate support, well-equipped private rooms and highly experienced team, our maternity care is designed to put you at ease both physically and emotionally, while ensuring the successful delivery of your baby.

A commitment to family-centered, personalized care

We believe each birth experience should be treasured and special — as unique and amazing as each baby, mother and family. Our staff is passionate about providing the best care that is centered on you, from the moment you come through the hospital doors until you leave with your precious little one.

Personalized care begins with a warm welcome and continues with a personal nurse in your private room who will support you through every step of your labor and delivery journey. Our staff is exceptionally trained in alternative labor methods and are known for their encouraging coaching for you and your birth partner.

From monitored walking to specialized positioning and birthing balls to on-call anesthesiologists for epidurals, we have a range of options to care for you. We also offer consultations on everything from breastfeeding to safe sleeping. And should you need it, our on-site Level II NICU provides all the specialized care your baby may need.

Partnering with UC Davis Health for neonatal intensive care

We’ve joined with UC Davis Health to ensure the very best pediatric and newborn care is available right here in Lodi. Through this one-of-a-kind partnership, UC Davis Health physicians offer care within the Adventist Health Lodi Memorial medical center, providing an instant connection to the UC Davis Medical Center’s dedicated pediatric emergency department.

UC Davis Health physicians also staff our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to treat infants with the most current technology and equipment available. This higher level of care ensures our smallest patients can stay close to home.

The partnership also brings the expertise of UC Davis Health pediatric hospitalists to our emergency department and inpatient units. If more specialized care is needed, pediatric subspecialists are available for consultation via telemedicine.

Lactation support

We believe that breastfeeding is the best option for every infant when possible. We also know that support and education are important to a successful breastfeeding experience. Our nurses have all received training in breastfeeding support while lactation consultants are available each weekday for further assistance. Once you return home, we offer a free breastfeeding support group to help you with your ongoing breastfeeding journey.

Please call our Lactation Support Warm Line at 209-339-7872 to connect with one of our lactation consultants should you have any questions or concerns.
