How to ensure a safe, healthy environment for all

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial takes pride in offering a welcoming, safe and healing environment. For the safety, security and wellness of our patients, staff and visitors, we kindly ask that you adhere to our policies and procedures.

Visiting hours and policies

You may visit a patient in the hospital 24 hours a day. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., you may access the hospital through the main entrance. Overnight, you may access the hospital through the emergency room entrance.

Visitors must abide by the following policies for the safety of our patients:

Visitors must stop at the entrance desk to register and be issued a visitor day pass to wear during their visit.
There is no limit on the number of visitors a patient may have in their room. However, visitation may be restricted when it is determined to be clinically necessary based on the patient status and care needs.
Nursing staff may limit or restrict visitors in order to maintain staff and patient safety and optimal healing.
Emergency Room: Open 24 hours and patients are allowed two visitors.
ICU: Limited to 2 visitors at a time unless otherwise approved.
There are no age restrictions for visitors.

Special situations

In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Obstetrics (OB), the patient care staff will determine visitation opportunities based on each patient’s unique situation during their stay with us.

Masking and other safeguards

Masking is optional for patients and visitors but is strongly recommended in all patient care areas. Masks are available at our main entrances. Individuals who are considered high risk (or live with some who is) should continue to mask in our hospital.

If a patient is in isolation, visitors are required to comply with our isolation procedures or will have their visiting privileges revoked.
