Volunteering at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is a great way to get more out of life, whether it’s more involvement in your community, more fulfillment through giving back, or more work experience in healthcare. No matter what role you serve, you’ll be supporting our mission of living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.

Our volunteer opportunities

We offer a variety of volunteer roles along with a comprehensive orientation and training period in your specific area of interest. You’ll also be invited to our annual volunteer appreciation event and have access to complimentary flu shots, meals and more. We offer volunteer opportunities in the following areas:

  • Adult day care
  • Cardiac rehab
  • Community Advisory Council
  • Education
  • Emergency department guest service ambassador
  • Gift shop
  • Human resources
  • Imaging center
  • Kitchen
  • Lobby guest service ambassador
  • Medical services
  • Music - piano player
  • Prayer ministry
  • Service ambassador
  • Surgery waiting room guest

Requirements

We’re always welcoming new volunteers who want to make a difference while experiencing the personal fulfillment that comes from serving others. Because you were made to be a light for your community.

To become a volunteer, we ask that you:

  • Commit to four hours per week for at least six months
  • Sign a confidentiality agreement
  • Complete safety training
  • Complete general medical center and department-specific orientation
  • Complete a volunteer application
  • Current TB Test and Flu Vaccination (required from October to April)

Interested in signing up?

We review applications in January, May and September of each year. We will interview and accept applications during those months only based upon the hospital’s need.
