Annual well-woman exam

Annual well-woman exams are an important part of your health. During this annual check-up, our providers listen to your concerns, discuss your health history, and conduct comprehensive tests in order to give you the information you need to make the best decisions for your health. The exam and screenings may include:

  • Breast exam
  • Mammogram
  • Pap Smear
  • Pelvic Exam
  • Ultrasound
  • Diagnostic screenings

Bone health

Bone health is important for mobility, posture, and overall quality of life. Our bone health specialists can assess the strength of your bones and detect conditions such as osteoporosis, a disease that makes the bones brittle and is common among women over 50.

Our bone density scan is a painless, imaging test that uses low-dose X-rays to measure bone mineral density and detect osteoporosis. While there is no cure for osteoporosis, early detection is important so we can help slow its progression and advise you on preventing injuries.

Breast health

Early detection of breast cancer is key to successful treatment. That’s why we use 3D Mammography, a low-dose X-ray of the breasts that detects cancer or other problems before a lump becomes large enough to feel. The National Cancer Institute recommends women over 40 have a screening mammogram every one to two years; the American Cancer Society recommends a mammogram for women over 40 every year.

Our FDA-certified center offers advanced digital mammography along with a trained staff who will explain your exam and make sure you are comfortable during your appointment.

Good nutrition

Registered dietitians provide nutrition counseling for individuals with specific medical needs as well as those who wish to maintain optimal health. Our approach integrates nutrition counseling with your overall health maintenance program. All nutrition counseling requires a physician referral.
