Residency Programs
How to Apply
At Adventist Health Glendale, we offer three residency programs in medicine. Residents gain a comprehensive experience grounded in excellence and compassion. Each program has a specific application process for prospective residents.
Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The application process allows our faculty and residents to thoroughly and holistically review each applicant’s credentials prior to extending an invitation to interview.
We do not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or age. We also do not discriminate against applicants based on disability, pregnancy, childbirth, or medical conditions.
Application deadline is December 31
It is the program’s plan to hold in-person interviews. If granted an interview, contact will be made through ERAS regarding the interview process. Interviews will be scheduled by invitation only and will occur between November-January.
Application Criteria
Our program participates in geographical preferences and program signaling as indicated by the applicant. All signaled applications will be reviewed. Applications are reviewed holistically across multi-domain review criteria, and include the following minimum requirements:
* Must pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 with no more than one (1) failure and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) with no failures OR must pass COMLEX Level 1 with no more than one (1) failure and COMLEX Level 2 (CE) with no failures.
