Adventist Health Glendale takes pride in offering a welcoming, safe, and healing environment. For the safety, security, and wellness of our patients, staff, and visitors, we kindly ask that you adhere to our policies and procedures.

Parking
We offer paid parking in our East and West parking garages, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Friday - Sunday, 7:00 a.m – sundown.
We also offer valet parking at Physicians Medical Terrace/Maternity and Lee Hughes Medical, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for a $10 flat rate.
Parking for our auditorium and conference rooms is in the East garage.
Parking garage rates
Rates are as follows:
- 20-minute grace period – FREE
- 21-40 minutes – $2
- 41-60 minutes – $4
- 61-80 minutes – $6
- 81-100 minutes – $8
- 101+ minutes – $10
- Weekly pass (5 consecutive days) – $40
- Valet parking – $10
- Lost ticket pays a maximum of $10
Visiting hours and guidelines
Adventist Health Glendale is open to visitors from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Patients are allowed two visitors at a time. Please abide by our visitor policies and department specific hours and restrictions below.
Visitor policies and guidelines
All visitors must be at least 14 years old, healthy, and self-screened for fever or other signs of infection before entering. A parent or legal guardian must supervise all minors.
A face mask is not required except when visiting patients in isolation. No visitors are allowed for COVID-19-positive patients or persons under investigation (PUI).
Once a visit is allowed, visitors must go directly to the patient’s room and stay there for duration of the visit.
All visitors must follow infection prevention precautions:
- Hand hygiene
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for patients in isolation
- Physical distancing
For visitation exceptions, please contact the unit director or house supervisor.
Department specific hours and restrictions
If the patient you are visiting is in one of the following units, please note their hours and restrictions.
Critical care and stepdown unit
- ICU visiting hours: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Stepdown Unit (SDU) visiting hours: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Two visitors at a time per patient. Overnight stay by exception only w/ director approval.
- No balloons or flowers
Behavioral health
- Visiting hours: 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- One visitor per day, by appointment only
- Visitors must schedule in advance by calling 818-409-8347
- Please check-in at the front desk upon arrival
Inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab/ARU)
- Visiting hours: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- One visitor (18 or older) at a time per patient. Exceptions require manager/director approval.
- Please check-in at the front desk upon arrival
Labor and delivery (LD)
- One designated birth partner and one support person allowed
- Maximum two designated visitors only, no switching
- Visitors must be 18 or older
- No balloons or flowers
Couplet care
- One designated birth partner may stay overnight
- Two visitors (18 or older, except siblings) at a time per patient, in addition to the significant other
- Maximum two flowers and balloons allowed
Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
- One or two parents/guardians at a time, depending on unit capacity
- Maximum of two visitors per patient per day
End-of-life, hospice, or critical condition
- Two visitors at a time
- Visits must be coordinated with the care team
- All infection control protocols must be followed
Transitional care center (TCC)
- Subject to change. Visits must be scheduled with the TCC unit receptionist by calling 818-409-8072 for more info.
Surgical or procedural areas
- One visitor at a time per patient
- Please check in upon arrival and wait until patient has been cleared for visitation. One visitor per patient may wait in the waiting room.
- One visitor at a time for patients who are minors or have physical, dementia or cognitive impairments
- Additional visitor requests require unit manager approval
Emergency department (ED Lobby and ED Room)
- Two visitors per patient in ER room
- Additional visitors may wait in the lobby and rotate in
