Spiritual Care
A faith-based approach to care
Adventist Health Glendale's commitment to servanthood means we make ourselves available to be present in all aspects of the lives of our patients and their loved ones. As a faith-based care provider, we care for the whole you — body, mind and spirit – and believe in the transformative power of faith to help patients find peace and resilience. That’s why we offer spiritual support for our patients and their loved ones, including 24/7 chaplain visits, a chapel, and other resources.
Chaplain visits
Our chaplains are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to console or pray with you or your loved ones. Volunteer chaplains from various religious traditions in our community are also available to provide spiritual care. Whether you need someone to pray with you and for you, or to simply offer a tender ear and sound advice, our compassionate chaplains are ready to help.
Additional spiritual support
Beyond our chaplain visits, we offer other services to support patients and family members emotionally and spiritually.
Our chapel
Our chapel is located on the first floor near the main entrance of the East Tower and provides a peaceful space for quiet reflection, prayer, and worship services. The chapel is open at all times for our patients and visitors.
Send a prayer to a patient
If you would like to send a prayer or some words of encouragement to a patient, please call our office and a member of the Spiritual Care Team will personally deliver your prayer or message of support to your loved one in our hospital.
