Adventist Health Glendale is a 515-bed medical center built on the Seventh-day Adventist faith and mission to improve the health of communities and to live God's love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.
Since our founding in 1905 as the Glendale Sanitarium, countless patients have entrusted our physicians, nurses and associates with their health care needs. Today, we are one of the largest medical centers serving the San Fernando Valley, with 800 physicians and more than 2,600 associates.
Living in Glendale, California
The city of Glendale is a large, culturally diverse community located just north of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley. Nestled between Burbank and Pasadena, Glendale offers some of the best in urban living, with easy access to dining, entertainment, shopping, amusement parks and outdoor recreation. Miles of sandy beaches are also located within a short drive.
There are many schooling options available in Glendale, with public schools operated by the Glendale Unified School District, several private school options and a junior college.
With warm, sunny summers and mild winters, it’s hard to beat Glendale’s weather. When it gets hot, simply head to the beach where temperatures are typically 20 degrees cooler!
