Supporting community projects and programs
The Adventist Health Feather River Health Foundation provides philanthropic support to programs, projects, and events that improve the health and quality of life of those living in Paradise and the North State region. Additionally, we collaborate and invest in partnerships that promote community well-being. We welcome your application for a sponsorship.
Aligning our support with our mission and community's needs
In keeping with our mission of living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope, we invest in initiatives that make positive and lasting impact on the health and quality of life of our community residents. Strong consideration will be given to projects that address the priority areas in our Community Health Needs Assessment. Learn more about our criteria and process below.
Sponsorship criteria
In general, our Feather River Health Foundation committee favors projects, programs, and events that:
- Improve access, availability, and quality of healthcare in Paradise and other Ridge communities
- Address the priorities identified in our Community Health Needs Assessment
- Support underserved or at-risk populations
We do not provide sponsorship funding for the following:
- Individuals
- Fraternities or sororities
- Memberships
- Individual scholarships and fellowships
- Smaller group activities
- Organizations or activities outside of the Adventist Health Feather River service area
- Pageants or field trips
Selection process and application deadlines
To ensure that sponsorship funds are being allocated to meet our criteria and goals, each application undergoes a full review by the sponsorship committee. Applications should be received 90 days in advance of your event or launch date, and we ask that you allow a 45-day response window for your sponsorship request.
The Feather River Health Foundation may limit the support provided to a maximum of one request per organization, per calendar year.
Requests for in-kind support (e.g., health screenings, promotional items/giveaways, etc.) will be assigned a monetary value and considered part of our contribution to an organization, if approved.
Project funding is reviewed annually to address the ever-changing needs of the community. Support for projects during a specific year does not guarantee continued or future funding.
