Wound care at Adventist Health Bakersfield

People living with diabetes are more likely to develop wounds that heal slowly due to changes in circulation, nerve function and the body’s natural repair process. Even small injuries can become serious if not treated early, which is why timely, specialized care matters. At Adventist Health, our wound care team offers advanced treatments — including debridement, pressure-relief techniques, negative pressure therapy and, when appropriate, hyperbaric oxygen therapy — to support healing and reduce the risk of complications. If you’re managing a wound that isn’t improving, we’re here to help you heal safely and stay well.
