Adventist Health Castle was recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with a five-star rating for the second year in a row, making us the only hospital in Hawai’i to achieve this distinction in 2024. The 5-star rating is the highest possible rating and awarded to the top 10% of hospitals nationwide. It evaluates performance across five quality areas: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience and timeliness and effectiveness of care.
