Adventist Health White Memorial has a longstanding commitment to teaching and training the next generation of healthcare providers. We offer five residency programs in medicine, where residents bond through Adventist Health’s unique mission to bring health, wholeness and hope. Our residency programs have accreditation from the Joint Commission (TJC) and the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

East Los Angeles is a federally designated medically underserved community, where about 30% of patients rely on Medi-Cal and other government programs. Through our residency programs and hospital services, we aim to identify and support community-wide health needs. We serve a diverse patient population, and residents must provide healthcare with a spirit of compassion and cultural humility. Across all our residency programs, residents benefit from an experience rich in cultural and economic diversity.
