At our Family Birth Center, you’ll receive compassionate, expert care in our comfortable birthing suites. As the only birthing center in Mendocino County, we’ve been helping grow our community for many generations. You and your child will be in the safe hands of our experienced and supportive maternity team. Whenever possible, your baby will stay with you to facilitate bonding and allow you to enjoy this most exciting moment in your life. Our Family Birth Center features:

In partnership with First5 Mendocino, we offer free birthing classes to help you prepare for your delivery and beyond. We'll cover a wide range of topics including pregnancy, childbirth, and what to expect during the early stages of your baby's life. We will share valuable insights, tips, and advice to help you feel confident and prepared.

Level II NICU

Advanced care for your baby

For babies who may need additional support and care, we’re proud to offer the only Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) serving Lake and Mendocino counties. This special nursery is equipped to care for babies as early as 34 weeks or with additional medical needs, and is staffed with pediatricians and nurses who have advanced training in neonatal intensive care.
