Ensuring a safe and healing environment for all
At Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, we value the importance of support from family and loved ones as part of the healing process, that’s why we welcome visitors to our facility. For the safety, security, and wellness of our patients, staff and visitors, we kindly ask that you adhere to our policies and procedures when visiting. Please call ahead to confirm current guidelines or if you have any questions about visiting.
Visiting hours and policies
You may visit a patient at any time throughout the week. Children under 14 are not allowed to visit, though exceptions may be made by the nurse in charge. Please check-in at the nurses’ station before proceeding to the patient’s room. Visitors may be asked to step out during tests, treatments, or when medical staff need to attend to the patient. Please respect and abide by the following other policies and requests:
Specific department policies
If you are visiting any of the departments below, please learn about their specific visitation policies. Other departments may have additional guidelines in place to protect patients and staff. Please ask about these when you arrive.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Our staff will determine visitation opportunities based on each patient’s unique needs and situation. Please call 707-463-7325 to inquire. Please do not bring plants, flowers, or latex balloons into the ICU unit, as these items can trigger allergies.
Family Birth Center
Patients are allowed two visitors at a time. All other visitors must wait in the waiting room for their turn. The birth of a child is an exciting event, but please help us maintain a calm atmosphere for the safety of the mother, child, and other expecting families.
