A faith-based approach to care
For over 100 years, Adventist Health has provided care rooted in faith with an emphasis on caring for the whole you — body, mind and spirit. Our spiritual care team is here to support you and your family through challenging times, offering a chaplain to console and pray with you as well as a chapel for quiet reflection, prayer, and worship services.
Supporting your healing journey
Providing spiritual support is core to our mission of living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope. Physical health and well-being are significantly enhanced when your spiritual needs are met. This observation is increasingly substantiated by medical evidence.
To support you, we employ a full-time chaplain who can speak with you, console you, and pray with you during difficult times. Our chaplain is also available to provide communion for those who desire it, and for the emotional support, and spiritual needs of our patients’ families and loved ones. You can also privately submit a prayer request.
In addition, our chapel on the first floor is available for quiet times of reflection, meditation, and prayer. We welcome visitors of all faiths for worship services and are open 24/7.

What are the chaplain office hours?
Chaplain office hours
Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
A chaplain is also available during non-business hours — just ask your nurse or a staff member for assistance.
Can I request a visit from my church’s clergy?
If you would like a visit from a member of the clergy of your church, please let the admitting clerk know at the time you are admitted and this can be arranged. Or you may let the nursing staff know of your desire at any time during your hospitalization.
