At Adventist Health Tillamook, adult and teen volunteers provide unlimited and valuable resources to our staff by delivering a wide assortment of services throughout the hospital and medical offices.

How do I become a volunteer?
The initial steps in becoming a volunteer at Adventist Health Tillamook are:
- Complete the online application. Please note you must be 16 – 90+ years of age and speak fluent English.
- Interview and background check
- Drug screening that includes cannabis
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Volunteer health history and screening
What is the volunteer work environment like?
Our desire is to provide volunteers with a supportive and caring environment where they can learn and thrive. We will match you based on your interests, skills and available positions.
Can volunteering lead to a job?
Although we don’t have a job placement program, the experience you gain while volunteering will certainly help in your pursuit of employment. Many of our adult and teen volunteers are directly hired by our departments for their excellent volunteer performance.
