Patients And Visitors

Visitor Information

Ensuring a safe, healthy environment for all

To support our patients and their loved ones, we always encourage family and friends to visit our patients while in our care. For the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, we kindly ask that you adhere to our visitation policies.

Visitation policies

You may visit a patient in the hospital at any time. For the health and safety of our patients and staff, all visitors must:

  • Refrain from visiting if you have symptoms of any illness
  • Check in at the nurses' station before going to the patient's room
  • Wear a visitor sticker: the sticker must remain visible at all times while in the facility
  • Never engage in any physical or verbal abuse of our staff, patients, or visitors

Department-specific guidelines

The following departments have these specific visitation policies:

  • Emergency Department: during periods of high volume, visitation is limited to one visitor per patient
  • Birth Center: four visitors are allowed at a time per patient
  • ICU: two visitors are allowed per patient and must be 12 years of age or older
  • Surgery: two visitors are allowed per patient and must be 18 years of age or older

Visitation guidelines are at the discretion of the nursing staff and may be modified or limited in certain situations, including for infection control and concerns with patient care and behavior. Please speak with a member of our staff if you have any questions.
