Compassionate attention, personalized treatment
Urological conditions can be deeply concerning and difficult to discuss, yet it’s critical to treat them properly. Our urologists provide discretion and sensitivity in a private setting, so you can speak openly about your concerns and we can gain better understanding. Combining our expertise with advanced technologies and treatment options, we’ll arrive at an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan. Treatments range from non-surgical solutions like physical therapy or medication to advanced surgical solutions.
Surgical solutions
For conditions that require surgical intervention, our urologists utilize the most advanced technology and procedures — from minimally invasive robotic surgery, laser treatment, and artificial implantation, to reconstruction options. Our surgical expertise is guided by one goal: to help you pursue the life you want with confidence.
Common surgical procedures we offer
- Robotic radical prostatectomy (prostate cancer)
- Robotic partial or radical nephrectomy (kidney cancer)
- Robotic simple prostatectomy (BPH)
- Transurethral resection of the prostate (BPH)
- Placement of artificial urinary sphincter (male incontinence)
- Placement of midurethral sling (female incontinence)
- Placement of penile prosthesis (erectile dysfunction)
- Robotic pyeloplasty (UPJ obstruction)
- Ureteroscopy to diagnose and treat upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC)

Aquablation therapy
Aquablation therapy is a treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The procedure combines ultrasound imaging, robotic-assisted surgery, and a heat-free water jet to resect prostate tissue with great precision. This unique therapeutic approach can be performed on prostates of any shape and size to deliver durable, long-lasting relief with low rates of irreversible side effects.
Bulkamid® Urethral Bulking System
Bulkamid is a long-lasting, minimally invasive treatment for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women. At Adventist Health Simi Valley, we are proud to offer this innovative solution that restores continence by helping the urethra seal more effectively during physical activity. This simple, outpatient procedure offers fast recovery and high patient satisfaction — without the need for incisions or general anesthesia.
How does Bulkamid work?
Bulkamid uses a soft, water-based gel that is injected into the urethral wall to help it close more effectively and prevent urine leakage during activities such as coughing, laughing, or exercising. It is a quick, outpatient procedure that typically takes less than 10 minutes and requires minimal downtime.
