Spiritual Care
A faith-based approach to care
Hospitalization and illness can bring feelings of fear, anxiety, and vulnerability. As a faith-based healthcare provider, we provide the spiritual support you and your family may need to cope with these emotional challenges. Between our compassionate chaplains, peaceful chapel, and other resources, we'll help you connect with the hope, peace, and resilience that’s rooted in your spirituality.
Chaplain visits
Our clinical chaplains are available 24/7 to support our patients and their loved ones. Regardless of your spiritual or religious background, our chaplains are here to console or confer with you. We can also help connect you with someone from your particular faith or place of worship. Our chaplains are helpful when you:
Additional services and resources
As part of our mission to live God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope, we offer a range of additional support for the whole you: body, mind, and spirit. Learn more below.
Our chapel
Sometimes you need a quiet space. Our chapel is a peaceful space available for quiet times of reflection, meditation, and prayer. The chapel is located on the first floor near the main entrance to the hospital and is always open.
Bereavement support
The death of a loved one brings profound sorrow, affecting our daily lives, mind, body, and soul. Grief can be frustrating, painful, and isolating, leaving us unsure of what to do or where to find support.
Our bereavement guide offers information on how to heal, plan a service, manage various tasks, and find support so you don’t have to go it alone.
Palliative care
Palliative care provides comprehensive ongoing support for patients suffering from serious chronic illnesses, with the goal of enhancing their quality of life. Our chaplains are part of our palliative care team and provide spiritual support to patients and their families.
