Supporting impactful initiatives in our community

Adventist Health and Rideout is a not-for-profit health system with a long-standing history of providing philanthropic support for health-related projects and programs offered within the communities we serve. In addition to financial sponsorships, we encourage our employees to volunteer, and take leadership roles in community programs, reinforcing our commitment to making a lasting impact.

Aligning our support with our mission and community’s need

Adventist Health and Rideout provides financial support to community organizations that align with our mission and Community Health Needs Assessment. Priority is given to projects that enhance community health in key areas such as access to healthcare, mental health services, healthy food, specialty care, health education, and transportation. We are particularly interested in supporting projects for underserved populations.

Funding decisions are reviewed annually to ensure alignment with evolving community needs, with no guarantee of continued support for previously funded initiatives.

Guidelines for sponsorship submission

To ensure that we can offer the most meaningful support and to manage our annual budget, each application will be carefully reviewed by our sponsorship committee, and evaluated based on our selection criteria. The organizations selected will have an opportunity to present their proposal for consideration after the submission period closes in December.

Adventist Health and Rideout will limit the support provided to a maximum of one request per organization. Support of projects and programs during a specific year does not guarantee continued or future funding.

Requests for in-kind support, i.e. health screenings, promotional items/giveaways, etc. will be assigned a monetary value and considered part of Adventist Health and Rideout’s contribution to an organization.

Adventist Health and Rideout does not discriminate based on creed, color, national origin, religion, or gender.

Unavailable sponsorships

We do not offer sponsorships for the following:

  • Individuals
  • Fraternities or sororities
  • Memberships
  • Individual scholarships and fellowships
  • Smaller group activities
  • Organizations or activities outside of the Adventist Health and Rideout service area
  • Pageants or field trips
