Service offerings
We offer a range of services to accommodate your needs.
Diagnostic assessment
Developing a good treatment approach for your needs depends on a thorough and accurate assessment of your current difficulties. All treatment begins with an interview focused on better understanding your strengths, history, challenges, and stressors. Your therapist will provide feedback on diagnosis and collaborate with you on a plan for treatment.
Individual and family therapy
Therapy is a powerful step toward healing and personal growth, and it often begins with individual support. In one-on-one sessions, your therapist will work closely with you to understand your unique challenges and tailor an approach that fits your needs and goals. At the same time, our mental health is deeply connected to the relationships we hold most dear. That’s why family therapy can also play a vital role—by strengthening communication, deepening understanding, and creating a supportive environment, it can lead to lasting positive change. Together, individual and family therapy offer a holistic path toward greater wellbeing for both you and your loved ones.
Neuropsychological testing
Through thorough interviewing and testing, neuropsychology provides a comprehensive picture of your current cognitive abilities and can be critical for identifying changes in cognitive functioning, or chronic cognitive difficulties. People often seek neuropsychological testing for concerns about memory, difficulty planning and completing tasks, ADHD, Alzheimer's, cognitive changes due to Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's Disease, and other cognitive difficulties. The aim of neuropsychological testing is to provide a current report of cognitive strengths and weaknesses, provide recommendations for compensating for cognitive difficulties, and help families make decisions on care and functioning.
Life skills
This refers to the teaching and development of essential skills that help individuals manage daily tasks and challenges. Life skills training may include areas like communication, problem-solving, emotional regulation, stress management, and decision-making. These skills are particularly important for individuals facing mental health issues or those transitioning to independent living.
Substance use treatment
We offer outpatient substance use treatment when additional mental health difficulties are also present. Quite often, substance use is either a way to cope with mental health difficulties or contributes to mental health problems. Treatment will focus on both reducing or abstaining from substances and minimizing mental health symptoms. Treatment may also include referrals to support groups, rehabilitation programs, or other mental health services.
Medication-assisted therapy (MAT)
MAT is a treatment approach that combines behavioral therapy and medications to treat substance use disorders, particularly opioid addiction. Medications help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, while therapy addresses the psychological aspects of addiction, providing a more comprehensive treatment strategy.
Collaboration with primary care providers for medication navigation
The psychologist you work with will coordinate care with your primary care providers to help provide a more complete picture of your mental health difficulties and ensure you receive medications effective in reducing mental health symptoms. Effective communication and collaboration help in monitoring medication effectiveness, managing side effects, and ensuring holistic care for patients with both physical and mental health needs.
