Working at Adventist Health Mendocino Coast
Adventist Health Mendocino Coast is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Fort Bragg with a rich history in serving community members on the coast. Following a grass-roots effort to pass a hospital district initiative, Mendocino Coast District Hospital was dedicated on June 26, 1971. Mendocino Coast District Hospital took its place as an important resource for the Fort Bragg community offering residents the peace of mind that comes from knowing emergency help is readily available and medical care often can be provided locally, keeping families together as much as possible. In July 2020, Mendocino Coast District Hospital joined the Adventist Health family. Every member of our team plays a key role in bringing exceptional health care to our rural communities.

The Mendocino Coast is where miles of breathtaking ocean views meet dense coastal forests. Sometimes shrouded by a fine layer of ocean fog and other times crystal clear, the coast boasts a plethora of beautiful beaches and is known for its natural beauty, from the smallest to the tallest Redwoods in the world, to glass-bottom beaches, and the only oceanfront botanical gardens in the USA.
With whale watching, fishing, hiking trails, and many more outdoor adventures readily available, the region invites you to immerse yourself in its landscape and history. Whether it's the coastal climate, the great outdoors, or the small-town atmosphere you seek, the Mendocino Coast is the place to be.
