Adventist Health Glendale Wound Care Center Enhances Access to Limb-Saving Care

Adventist Health Glendale’s newly expanded Wound Care Center specializes in treatment for patients suffering from chronic wounds. This expansion is a critical step in addressing the growing need for advanced wound care, particularly for individuals dealing with diabetes, poor circulation, and other chronic conditions that can lead to non-healing wounds and, in severe cases, amputation.

“Chronic wounds, if left untreated, can lead to severe infections and even loss of mobility,” shared Dr. Anthony Bielawski, who oversees wound care and hyperbaric medicine for Adventist Health Glendale. “Our goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care to those experiencing the debilitating physical and psychological effects of chronic wounds.”

Dr. Bielawski is a former commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps with extensive experience in emergency medicine, specialized wound care, and hyperbaric medicine. His leadership ensures that patients receive advanced, evidence-based treatments, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and vascular interventions designed to stimulate healing and restore function.
