Visitor Information

Making your medical center visit easier

You heal better and more quickly when you feel safe and loved. That's why we encourage your loved ones to visit you when your condition and our capacity allow it. Your friends and family are important parts of your care team.

Visiting hours and guidelines

Because patients are our top concern, we ask you and your visitors to adhere to the following guidelines to make sure everyone can heal in a safe and comfortable environment. General visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For labor and delivery/postpartum, pediatrics, neonatal ICU, and emergency department, visiting is available 24/7.

Visitation guidelines

  • Two visitors aged 18 or older are allowed to visit a patient simultaneously.
  • Those aged 12 or older may visit if accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  • All visitors must check in and wear a visitor badge throughout their visit.
  • Outpatient surgical and procedural patients may have one visitor during scheduled procedure hours.
  • Patients are allowed one designated visitor/support person while in the emergency department.
  • Patients in private rooms may have one overnight visitor with patient and nursing staff approval. Patients in non-private rooms may not have overnight visitors.
  • Access to newborn and pediatric units may vary to support infant/child bonding.

Special circumstances

  • Exceptions on the number of visitors may be made for patients with disabilities, cognitive impairments, and end-of-life care. These circumstances will be managed by the unit director.
  • Visitation may be limited due to contagious illnesses. Please discuss with your charge nurse if needed.
  • Visitation may be delayed, altered, or declined based on individual patient care needs, determined by agreement between the patient's nurse and physician.

Non-discrimination

Our hospitals do not discriminate against visitors based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Visitors are kindly requested to refrain from visiting if feeling unwell. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
