At Adventist Health, we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare no matter where they live. That’s why our Mobile Care Units serve communities across Central California, bringing essential health services directly to those who need them most. Our mobile clinics are designed to serve families and individuals who may face barriers to traditional healthcare, such as living in rural areas, experiencing homelessness, or lacking reliable transportation. By traveling into underserved neighborhoods, we’re making it easier for more people to receive the care they deserve.

Chevron: Powering our mobile care

With strong roots in Kern County, Chevron wanted to find a way to “power” rural healthcare access. So, in 2019, they contributed $200,000 to help us purchase and furnish our first mobile unit. It was just in time, as the mobile unit allowed us to bring COVID-19 vaccinations to rural areas during the pandemic. And it’s still delivering care today.
