Each rotation is 4-6 weeks in duration:

  • Orientation
  • Internal Medicine
  • Critical Care I & II
  • Infectious Disease I & II
  • Administration
  • Ambulatory Care
  • Transition of Care

Longitudinal experiences

Complex Care Clinic

On a weekly basis, residents will work alongside primary care providers at our Complex Care Clinic to manage complex patients with multiple chronic health conditions.

Pharmacy operations

Residents will staff on a weekly basis and build training on experiences including but not limited to order verification, medication management, therapeutic drug monitoring, provision of drug information, and therapeutic decision making.

Project and research

Residents will complete a research project to be presented at Western States Conference. Additionally, they will participate in various projects and research experiences throughout the year.

Pharmacy education/preceptorship

Residents will have the opportunity to participate in topic discussions, presentations, and precepting pharmacy students throughout the residency program.

  • Three letters of recommendation (at least one from a clinical APPE; the other two should be from a clinical or academic professor/mentor/researcher, manager, or similar)

Eligible candidates will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy.
