Audrey Kendall excelled in COPE Health Solutions’ Medical Assistant Training Program at Adventist Health Portland. A former special needs caregiver and aspiring nurse, she joined the program to deepen her healthcare knowledge. She now works as a Medical Assistant at the Adventist Health Cardiology Clinic in Portland.
How did this program shape your career goals?
“The program made my goals feel attainable. I had the support and resources to grow my skillset to a point where I feel confident and comfortable working in a medical environment.”
How did this program prepare you for your role in healthcare?
“[The MA Training Program] set me up for success and prepared me for this position.” The program provided essential tools and support, enabling Audrey to become a knowledgeable medical assistant while earning an income and gaining externship hours.

Our Medical Assistant Training program offers a comprehensive, hybrid learning experience with 4 months of virtual classes, including instructor support and CCMA exam preparation, combined with 5 in-person skills labs and a 6-week paid externship at Adventist Health clinics.
