Adventist Health Mendocino Coast Welcomes New Providers

Caring for you and your family is our privilege and our passion. And, finding a primary care provider just got a little easier, as we welcome three new family nurse practitioners to our clinics in Fort Bragg.

Anabelle Yañez Meyer, FNP-C

Annabelle joins the Sequoia Circle Medical Office, providing family medicine care for patients ages five and older.

Born and raised in Fort Bragg, Anabelle’s story is especially meaningful. She began her healthcare journey right here at Adventist Health Mendocino Coast, serving as a registered nurse in our hospital for more than a decade before pursuing advanced training to become a certified family nurse practitioner.

With a deep commitment to whole-person care, Anabelle provides primary and preventive services for children, teens, and adults of all ages. Her areas of focus include women’s health, family medicine, and pediatrics, as well as diagnostic testing and treatment for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disorders. She is passionate about building trusting, long-term relationships with her patients and takes pride in offering compassionate, personalized care.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Anabelle connects naturally with our diverse community and brings a welcoming, understanding presence to every visit. Visit adventisthealth.org/AMeyer or call 707-964-0259.

Benjamin James Meyer, MSN, FNP-C

Ben is no stranger to the Mendocino Coast; he grew up in Comptche, Mendocino, and Fort Bragg. After 16 years as a paramedic and seven years as an emergency department nurse, Ben followed his calling to become a family nurse practitioner. His experience in emergency medicine inspired his passion for providing accessible, long-term primary care to our community.

Ben offers a full range of family medicine services including preventive care, pediatrics, men’s health, and chronic disease management. When asked what inspires him most, Ben shared, “Years of emergency medicine clearly showed the need for primary care in my community. I want long-standing relationships with my patients. I love the challenge of medicine and the constant changes within it.”

Ben is now accepting new patients at 721 River Drive, Suite A in Fort Bragg. To learn more or schedule an appointment, visit adventisthealth.org/BJMeyer or call 707-961-4631.
