Rachel J. Pandiangan joins Adventist Health as a Family Nurse Practitioner

Adventist Health is pleased to welcome Rachel Pandiangan, DNP, FNP-C to the Adventist Health team. She is a family nurse practitioner with more than a decade of experience. She will call our Orosi clinic home. Pandiangan can treat a wide variety of ailments including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hypothyroidism, diabetes, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections.

Pandiangan’ s life-long dream has been a career in nursing, “I wanted to be a nurse for as long as I remember. I started working as a nursing assistant while I was in nursing school. I was a surgical-oncology bedside nurse for the majority of my career before becoming a family nurse practitioner. Caring for people and knowing that I make a positive impact on others gives me purpose in life.”

Starting her nursing training at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas, she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She went on to become a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner through her schooling at Loma Linda University located in Loma Linda, California. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner.

When not with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and their three kids. She also loves traveling and seeing beautiful scenery.
